Education is changing. Using digital tools at school is now an absolute necessity, and France must introduce major policies to equip its educational institutions. Technology is the answer to the essential preoccupations of the education community and parents. All the conditions are right for things to go digital: ministerial support, numerous offers from businesses, financing possibilities for projects... Given the success that multimedia programmes have among users, local governments that have already made investments in the field are continuing. Universal access to technology is now more than ever a major issue.

In addition to that, rehabilitating professional trades have shown how valuable apprenticeships and training are. Currently, one of the keys of restoring importance to professional and technological education lies in the ability of teaching world to create ties to the economic world in general and the business world in particular.

Lastly, the opening of borders an increasing international exchanges, seen in an increasingly integrated Europe, mean mastery of foreign languages has become an essential skill, both professionally and culturally, for the citizens of tomorrow.
